Privacy policy
This policy explains, in plain English, what happens to the information you give us when you join the FairDose waitlist. FairDose is an iPhone app that's still in development. The app itself will have its own privacy policy before it launches.
Who we are
The FairDose website and waitlist are operated by Rossano Ventures LLC, a Georgia limited liability company. You can reach us anytime at hello@fairdose.app.
What we collect
- Your email address (required to join).
- Your optional answers: which GLP-1 app you use now and what bugs you about it, and what else you track.
- Basic technical data that any website or email service handles automatically, such as IP address, browser type and the time of a request. Our hosting and email providers process this to deliver the site and the form and to protect them from abuse (see below).
Please don't include personal medical details (doses, conditions, test results, prescriptions or anything similar) in the form or in emails to us. We don't need them, and we'd rather not hold them.
Why we collect it
- To tell you when the beta opens and when the app launches.
- To do product research: your optional answers help us decide what to build and fix first.
That's all. We don't use your information for anything else.
What we don't do
- We never sell or rent your information.
- We don't run ads, and this site has no advertising pixels, analytics scripts or cross-site tracking.
- We don't share your information with anyone except the service providers listed below, who handle it on our behalf.
Service providers
- Kit (kit.com) stores the waitlist and sends our emails. When you submit the form, your email address and answers go directly to Kit. Kit's own privacy policy is at kit.com/privacy.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and forwards email sent to hello@fairdose.app. Like most hosts, Cloudflare processes request logs (for example IP address and browser information) to serve the site and keep it secure. Cloudflare's privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist information until the app launches and for a reasonable period after that, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. If the project ends, we'll delete the list.
Unsubscribing and deleting your data
- Unsubscribe: every email we send has an unsubscribe link.
- Delete or see your data: email hello@fairdose.app from the address you signed up with. We'll delete your information or send you a copy, usually within 30 days.
Who this is for
The waitlist is intended for people in the United States who are 18 or older. Please don't sign up if you're under 18. If we learn that someone under 18 has signed up, we'll delete their information.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS only, and we limit who can access the waitlist. No system is perfectly secure, which is one more reason to leave medical details out of the form.
Not medical advice
FairDose is a tracking tool. It doesn't give medical advice. Talk to your clinician about your treatment.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above. If a change is significant, we'll email the waitlist before it takes effect.
